This is a fun filled weekend when “Tulbagh Goes Cape Dutch”. The Valley is abuzz with activities. Traditional Dutch and Cape Dutch delicacies are on offer. Visit the wine estates for wine tasting, entertainment and sample olives, cheese and chocolates. Visit the farmers market for organic vegetables, home baked goodies etc. Don’t miss the Dutch Courage Party on Saturday evening or the street breakfast on the Sunday morning. The restaurants will have a variety of Cape, Dutch and East Indian cuisine on their menus. Entertainment for the whole family.

- CHRISTMAS IN WINTER
Tulbagh celebrates Chistmas in Winter. The village is decorated with lights and Christmas trees. Father Christmas rides through the streets giving out treats to the children. The restaurants offer traditional Christmas Dinners. Visit the arts and craft stalls, take a drive through the Valley and visit the wine estates for wine tasting, entertainment and more. A Rock with Santa Party is also held in the evening.

National Horse Championships are held and the highlight of the show is the wild flower exhibition, where flowers are displayed as they would appear in their natural state. Various exhibitions, art and craft stalls, food stalls and a wine and beer garden.
