I built up a new farm from the beginning. This included the entire infrastructure of the farm's buildings and the enlarging of two dams. I was also responsible for the planting of 30ha of vines right from the digging of the profile holes, soil samples, planting of the vines. Installation of the trellis system and irrigation system and later the training up of these vines and bringing them into production. I have also assisted a neighboring farmer by supervising the planting of 12ha vineyards. On the same farm, I started experimenting with the growing of Buchu Agothosma Crenulata and Agothosma Betulina, worked closely with Grass Roots Natural Products and placePlaceNameElsenberg PlaceTypeCollege, and later had 5ha of Buchu under cultivation.</div> <bR> <div> 1990 - 1994 Spent a number of years working on the mechanical side of the water treatment industry where I built, commissioned and maintained water treatment and sewerage plants and irrigation systems.
