Dear Sir,
MULTI-STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP FOR THE WITZENBERG / DRAKENSTEIN AREA -MINUTES
In respect of the email below, you refer to the '"minutes as being final, as no additional comments were received or amendments made to them".
May I remind you that I submitted comments on 22nd January 2010 in respect of the minutes for which you acknowledged receipt thereof.
How you can now suggest that no additional comments were received is therefore a little difficult to understand?
The comment referred to may is published on the website Tulbagh Information and can be viewed at - http://www.tulbagh.net/bantamsklip_kappa_power_line.htm for all to see and for the record.
Kind regards,
John Veschini

Dear Mr Veschini
The minutes to the workshop were distributed to all participants who attended the workshop as well as those people who were invited but declined the invitation to attend. The latter category of people received them for information purposes.
When minutes are distributed for comment it is to offer the participants the opportunity to ensure that the minutes produced are a correct representation of what was said at the meeting and to provide clarity on any issues that may not have been correctly portrayed.
As you did not attend the meeting you cannot correct the minutes. The comments you submitted have been captured in the Issues and Responses Report (IRR) for the Multi-Stakeholder Workshop process and will be responded to there. This IRR will be included in the Revised Scoping Report which will be put out for public review later in the year.
Kind Regards
Theo Hansford
